James Bond’s Martini — Natalie Haughton’s Article in the L.A. Daily News Food Section 11/15/06

Okay, I have to admit, this was a fun story to write. I had a blast putting it together, and even got to attend a screening of the new Bond movie, Casino Royale. For those who know me well, I don’t go to the movie theatre that often, so that was a special treat.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve always been a fan of Vodka martinis on the rocks. I know my children (both grown now) prefer Vodka martinis, but I was amazed to hear how unpopular Gin martinis really are.  9 out of 10 martinis ordered at Spago Beverly Hills are Vodka martinis.

For more, read “Royale treatment“, as it appears on the L.A. Daily News Food Section website.
