Natalie Haughton, food editor of the Los Angeles (L.A.) Daily News since 1976 and author of six cookbooks, indulges in everything food. Focusing on the L.A. food scene, Natalie regularly attends area restaurants, as well as social and other special events. Natalie provides recipes of favorite restaurant dishes, from scratch, that a reader can make at home in her regular column, Restaurant Replicas.
One of the major stories she “broke” highlighted Wolfgang Puck in 1982 and was possibly the first ever front page color spread of him and his revolutionary culinary cuisine. More recently, Natalie was mentioned on L.A. Observed for providing the scoop on Mayor Villaraigosa’s second oldest daughter’s wedding. Natalie has appeared as a guest or temporary host on numerous television shows and radio programs throughout her journalism career.
